Tuition free universities education in Norway at cheap registration fee per month.

Education in Norway 
Higher education starts after  upper secondary school, consisting of education for 3 or more years. A general university admissions certificate (generell studiekompetanse) is required for admission in most higher education schools. Higher education is broadly divided into:
  •  Some Universities concentrate on theoretical subjects (arts, humanities, natural science) and award  bachelor (3 years), master (5 years) and PhD (8 years) titles. Professional studies, including law, medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and psychology,are conducted by separate departments of the universities.
  •  University colleges also award (høyskole), a wide range of degrees such as, bachelor, master and PhD levels etc.
  • Some  private schools deliver specialisation in popular subjects in the fields like business management,marketing or fine arts.
  •  The Norwegian higher education sector consists of eight universities, nine specialised university institutions, 20 state university colleges, two national academies of the arts and 16 private colleges
  • The Universities in Norway are well Ranked and Recognized in the World.

Bachelor Level Requirements
International applicants to English-taught bachelor's level study programmes must to meet the following requirements to be eligible for admission:

1- NORWEGIAN HIGHER EDUCATION
ENTRANCE QUALIFICATION
 
 (proof of schooling equivalent to 3 years of Norwegian upper secondary school)

2- PROOF OF ENGLISH PROFICIENCY

3- PROOF OF FINANCIAL ABILITY 
International applicants from outside the EU/EEA area, who are applying to our bachelor's or master's level study programmes, are required to document their financial ability to cover living expenses for one academic year.

If financial ability is not proved, the application for admission will be rejected.(This applies only to NON-EU/EEA NATIONALS) 

Please upload scanned copies of the required documents within application dates
(Both Master & Bachelor Levels ) 

1- Passport or ID showing your name and nationality.

2- Documentation supporting any change of name (if applicable).

3- Proof of English language proficiency.

4- Proof of additional years of university education.(Applicable for certain country)

5- Upper Secondary School Diploma together with its Transcript of Records.
6- Bachelor's Degree Diploma together with its transcript of records with grade explanation/diploma supplement.

7- Official documentation indicating the fulfilment or completion of the degree or graduation (applicable to certain countries).

8- Proof of financial ability (living expenses) - only non EU/EEA/Swiss applicant.

9- Statement of purpose/Letter of Intent (applicable to certain programmes).

10- Curriculum Vitae/Resume (should be chronological).

Countries with specific documentation requirements

- Only applicants from the USA & Ethiopia can send their transcript of records by regular mail if ordered by the issuing institution.


- TOEFL or IELTS can be sent by regular mail to the International Office. But if you have the originals in your possession, just upload them directly.


- Applicants from Pakistan must verify their educational credentials at the Higher Education Commission in Pakistan (HEC Stamp)..


- Applicants from China must verify their educational credentials at the China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Centre (CDGDC).


- Applicants from the West African Examination Council (WAEC) MUST upload their WAEC Result Checker (Scratch Card) for verification purposes.

Master Level Requirements

1- Entrance qualifications
(proof of schooling equivalent to 3 years of Norwegian upper secondary school)

3- BACHELOR´S DEGREE DIPLOMA
OR EQUIVALENT
The minimum average grade requirement is:

C - for bachelor’s degree or equivalent issued in Europe, Canada, USA, Australia and New Zealand
B - for bachelor’s degree or equivalent issued in all other countries

4- PROOF OF FINANCIAL ABILITY

International applicants from outside the EU/EEA area, who are applying to our bachelor's or master's level study programmes, are required to document their financial ability to cover living expenses for one academic year.

FOR PHD PROGRAMS:
 For Ph.D. programmes in English you will have to check with each institution individually (see official websites above).

DEADLINES:

In order to obtain the necessary application forms and information about the application deadlines you will have to contact each university or university college. In general the application deadline for foreign students is between December 1 to March 15 for courses starting the following autumn (August). Please note that some institutions have separate "pre-qualification" deadlines that are earlier than this. As,at some Universities, applications start to open from 1st October and close in December for international applicants.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

The International Office coordinates the application process for international students and assesses whether you fulfil the formal general admission requirements (eligibility). The outcome of your application is decided by the faculty offering the study programme for which you have applied.Application forms, if necessary, should be requested from individual institutions. All application should then be sent directly to the specific institution. For institutions with an online application portal, carefully fill in the requested details and submit.

Semester fee & Living Expenses

No tuition fee is charged from the students however Registration Fee per semester. It is estimated that NOK 300-600 ($50-100) per month may be required. Although official average student expenditure of about NOK 7000-8000 per month for subsistence refers to board and lodgings,clothing,transport,medical and dental care and other necessities. These living expenses vary from person to person depending on personal habits. However, on the whole, study in Norway may be cheaper.The following amount of money to be documented by non-EU applicants when applying to UiT: (May Be Different Amount At other Universities)
NOK 103 950*or its equivalent in foreign currency (for degree-seeking applicants, i.e. staying in Norway for more than 2 semesters for studies)
NOK 51 975*for visa-seeking exchange students (if accepted for 2 semesters, you must document NOK 100 920).
NOK 10 390*for student accepted for less than a semester - one or two months.

The amount received form applicants are currently required to be documented to meet the requirement from The Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) when applying for a residence permit as a student (A.K.A. Study Permit).

NOTE: The amount of living expenses for one year is required to be deposited to respective Universities Accounts After Acceptance of the Students for Admission (Before arriving in the country).

PLEASE NOTE:

All students who plan to stay in Norway for more than three months will need a Student Residence Permit. Requirements and procedures depend on your current country of residency. Visas are only issued for stays up to 90 days (e.g. for certain Summer School programmes). Please, carefully read the regulations as to avoid problems during the application process

Students may be allowed to work up to 20 hours per week. Certain restrictions do apply.
Several scholarships and financial schemes are available for foreign students. Eligibility depends on your current country of residency and level of completed education. Certain restrictions and prerequisites apply for all these programmes.
